Description
This Iznik pottery dish is composed of ceramic fritware and features a circular form with underglaze polychrome motifs on a white ground. The central well is decorated with a floral arrangement of blossoms and serrated saz leaves in shades of raised tomato red, emerald green, and cobalt blue. A geometric border with stylized cloud patterns encircles the rim. The reverse reveals a clear glaze with dark green and black abstract markings and an unglazed foot ring.
