Description
A Bohemian ruby glass vase dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The vessel features a bulbous body and a long, slender cylindrical neck. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted enamel and gilded accents, including white-ground arched bands with orange beaded details, scrolling green foliage, pink acanthus leaves, and multicolored floral sprays in shades of blue and orange. A white enamel band of scrolling leaves encircles the mid-section of the neck. The vase displays a ground pontil mark on the underside.
