Description
This Qajar period Persian Minakari enamel on copper vase features a slender, tapered neck with a central knop, a bulbous body, and a flared circular foot. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted polychrome scenes and motifs on a cream-colored ground. A large central medallion depicts a seated male figure in royal attire wearing a crown, surrounded by floral sprays and birds. The neck is divided into registers featuring standing female figures and portrait busts within arched panels. The piece is finished with floral patterns, geometric borders, and a green-enameled interior visible at the mouth. The underside of the foot retains remnants of a paper inventory label.
