Description
An Indian silver Mughal style rosewater sprinkler, also known as a gulab pash, dating to the 19th or early 20th century. The vessel features a bulbous mid-section supported by a flared, stepped pedestal base and a long, tapering neck that terminates in a domed, perforated screw-top cap. The exterior is decorated with intricate repousse and chased floral and foliate motifs. The construction consists of a silver-toned metal showing characteristics of traditional Indian metalwork.
