Description
This 19th century Jewish Iraqi silver rose-water sprinkler is attributed to the Baghdad region. The vessel is fashioned with a bulbous body resting on a flared pedestal base. The tall, slender neck tapers to a decorative scalloped finial with a small central aperture. The underside of the base displays a stamped hallmark within a lobed cartouche containing script.
