Lot 333:
Description
This hand-blown vessel is composed of olive-green translucent glass, featuring a bulbous teardrop-shaped body that tapers into a long, slender neck ending in a small, flared rim. A single decorative glass trail is applied in a ring around the shoulder at the base of the neck. The glass material is characterized by numerous internal air bubbles, or seeds, and visible swirling striations. The base displays a prominent rough pontil mark. The form is consistent with the swan-neck or ashkdan style of glass bottle.
