An impressive and richly embroidered Ottoman Quran cover, worked in silver metal thread on a vibrant red silk ground. The design features a large central mihrab-shaped arch framing multiple calligraphic cartouches rendered in shimmering silver and green panels, each intricately filled with Arabic inscriptions. Stylized columns, scrolling vine motifs, and geometric borders frame the composition, showcasing the refined aesthetic of Ottoman textile artistry. The metallic threadwork is finely executed, with dense couching and detailed outlining providing depth and contrast against the silk backdrop.
