Description
Of baluster form with tapering necks and rounded knops, painted in polychrome enamels beneath a clear glaze. The bodies alternate between oval portrait medallions of courtly figures and panels of floral sprays, framed by bold cobalt-blue scrolls. The necks are decorated with blossoms and foliage. Typical of Tehran production in the Qajar period.
