Description

A Mamluk Revival style circular dish constructed from brass with silver inlay. The interior surface features dense silver-inlaid foliate scrolls and arabesques. The central medallion contains a hexagram, surrounded by alternating floral and calligraphic-style cartouches. A scrolling wave pattern borders the rim. The reverse is a plain, turned brass surface with a central circular recess. Hand-incised script, likely an owner mark or signature, is visible on the reverse.
