Description
This Khorazan style vessel consists of a cylindrical body with a hinged, domed lid and a floral-motif finial. The exterior surface is elaborately decorated with incised and inlaid designs, including a band of Kufic script around the upper rim and a central frieze depicting stylized animals within foliate scrollwork. The lid features corresponding decorative bands. The vessel is constructed with two side handles and a flat base that displays a central circular indentation from the manufacturing process.
