Description

Features a cylindrical body with a rounded top and a flat base. It is decorated with a marvered feathered pattern, consisting of light-toned trailed glass in zig-zagging rows against a dark ground that has weathered to a mottled brown and black. The base is marked by a central perforation. This form and decoration are consistent with archaeological finds identified as gaming pieces, such as those used in the Roman game of latrunculi.
