The bird is rendered in a stylized form with a rounded body, a long forked tail, and slender legs terminating in three-toed feet. The decorative program includes fine gold wire inlay on the wings and breast, depicting geometric cross-hatching, stylized feathers, and scrolling foliate motifs.
