Description

The dromedary camel is fashioned from a buff-colored earthenware or fritware and is decorated with golden-brown metallic luster over a cream-colored tin glaze. The figure features calligraphic and foliate scrollwork across its body and carries an abstract load or a simplified rider on its back. The camel stands on an integrated rectangular plinth.
