A SPANISH WOOD AND TARACEA MARQUETRY SALES CATALOG FOR TALLERES DE ARTESANIA GRANADINA VICTOR MOLERO MARTINEZ, 19TH CENTURY
A vintage Spanish sales catalog for the workshop Talleres de Artesania Granadina Victor Molero Martinez, based in Granada. The catalog features wood covers with remnants of geometric Taracea (Granadine marquetry) inlay. The interior consists of cardstock pages with mounted black and white photographic prints depicting various decorative items including inlaid boxes, chests, picture frames, and desktop accessories. Many photographs bear a purple ink workshop stamp and handwritten article numbers. Printed text on the inside cover identifies the maker as a specialist in Arab and Spanish style furniture, embossed leathers, and ivory or bone engravings.
