Description
A Persian miniature painting executed in a traditional style with fine brushwork and vibrant pigments on paper or card. The composition features a detailed pastoral scene populated by various figures, pack animals including camels and donkeys, and livestock such as cattle and goats. The landscape includes a flowering tree and a blue decorated tent with a figure inside. A small inscription in Persian script is visible at the lower left. The work is presented within a wide, mitered olive-green velvet mat and housed in an ebonized wooden frame featuring a gilded, beaded inner slip. The reverse is sealed with paper and fitted with a hanging wire.
