Description
A FRAMED MICRO-CALLIGRAPHY QURANIC VERSE, PROBABLY BY SAMI BURHAN (SYRIAN, B. 1929)
This framed artwork features a Quranic verse rendered in a micro-calligraphy style attributed to Sami Burhan. The composition depicts Surah Az-Zumar (39:53), where larger calligraphic characters are intricately formed by minute, densely packed script. The work is executed in shades of red, blue, green, and brown ink on an off-white paper ground. The piece is presented in a panoramic horizontal format and is housed in a dark wood frame with a gilded inner lip. The reverse is professionally sealed with a hanging wire attached.
