Description
AN ILLUMINATED ARABIC MANUSCRIPT OF KITAB AL-SHIFA BI TARIF HUQUQ AL MUSTAFA BY QADI IYAD, COPIED BY MOHAMMED ALMURADIA, DATED 1195 AH
This manuscript is a bound copy of Kitab al-Shifa bi-ta’rif huquq al-Mustafa by Qadi Iyad. The text is written in Arabic Naskh calligraphy in black ink, featuring red and gold highlights. Each page of text is set within ruled borders of gold, blue, and red. The opening page contains an illuminated headpiece (unwan) in blue, red, and gold, incorporating floral and geometric patterns. The volume is bound in brown leather, decorated with a central gilded mandorla and two associated pendants, surrounded by a gold-tooled border.
