Description
This calligraphic composition features multiple cartouches of Nasta’liq script executed in black ink. The text is set against gold and buff backgrounds decorated with delicate foliate motifs. The central arrangement is enclosed by several tiers of elaborate borders, including a light blue band with gold scrollwork and a wide outer band featuring a repeating floral pattern in yellow and green on a dark ground. The work is executed in ink, opaque pigments, and gold on paper. It is presented in a light-colored mat within a weathered wood frame featuring a beaded inner rim. The reverse is finished with a hardboard backing and a wire hanging mechanism.
