Description
An illuminated Islamic calligraphic panel featuring a central circular medallion with a red ground and stylized blue calligraphy of the word Allah. The central medallion is bordered by a scalloped gold frame and surrounded by dense arabesque and floral motifs in shades of blue and gold. The composition is executed on paper using gouache and gold pigments. The panel is set within a larger light blue paper mount.
