Description
This hand-colored botanical print depicts a jasmine branch with white blossoms, elongated buds, and green pinnate leaves. Executed in a 19th-century scientific style, the work is rendered on cream-colored paper. The reverse of the sheet features a faint pencil notation reading IS in the upper right corner. The irregular left margin indicates the sheet was previously part of a bound volume.
