Description
This Tuareg or Sahelian Takouba sword features a straight, double-edged steel blade decorated with etched interlocking circular motifs. The hilt is constructed with a large disc-shaped pommel, a grip featuring decorative metal banding, and a complex crossguard with triangular and curved projecting elements. The accompanying scabbard is crafted from dark leather or fabric, embellished with embossed geometric patterns and applied decorative panels in contrasting colors.
