Description
This Indian sword, known as a Firangi, features a long, straight, double-edged steel blade that tapers to a point. The blade bears a small, stylized armory mark near the hilt. The iron hilt is of traditional form, characterized by a curved knuckle guard and a broad disc pommel with a small decorative finial. Elaborate silver-toned koftgari inlay in floral and geometric patterns adorns the hilt. The entire piece displays a dark, consistent patina.
