Description

A striking 19th-century tribal necklace from the Oman–Yemen region, composed of finely crafted silver elements set with polished oval agate stones in rich hues of red, orange, and amber. Each gemstone is mounted in a smooth silver bezel and alternated with intricately shaped triple-lobed links, engraved with traditional geometric motifs and applied with gold highlights, creating a rhythmic and elegant design.

The reverse displays hand-finished silverwork typical of southern Arabian jewelry craftsmanship, with subtle variations attesting to its handmade origin. The necklace exemplifies the skill and aesthetic refinement of 19th-century silversmiths from the Arabian Peninsula, where jewelry was both an adornment and a symbol of identity and status.
