A finely executed Persian miniature portrait of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar, depicted in formal attire adorned with jewels and medals, and wearing an ornate feathered crown. The Shah is portrayed within an arched gilt border decorated with floral motifs and inscriptions in elegant Persian calligraphy. The artist’s meticulous brushwork and attention to detail reflect the refinement of traditional Qajar portraiture.


Executed in opaque watercolor and ink on paper, the painting bears the artist’s signature, Muhammad Riza, and the date 1371 AH in the lower register. Presented under glass within a green mount and wooden frame.
