A finely executed Persian miniature painting depicting a romantic couple seated in a verdant landscape beneath a tree. The lovers are portrayed in an intimate embrace beside a flowing stream, with a white horse standing in the background and a still-life arrangement of fruit and a wine vessel in the foreground — traditional symbols of love and pleasure.


Rendered in vivid pigments and delicate brushwork, the composition reflects late Qajar artistic sensibilities, characterized by naturalistic modeling and subtle emotional expression. The scene is framed within multiple colored borders, and the reverse bears inscriptions in Persian, including a signature and the date 1318 AH (1900–1901 CE).
