A fine and important Meccan manuscript of Al-Shifa bi Taʿrif Huquq al-Mustafa (The Healing by the Recognition of the Rights of the Chosen One), the celebrated work of Qadi Iyad ibn Musa al-Yahsubi al-Sabti (d. 544 AH / 1149 CE), one of the most authoritative texts on the virtues, rights, and exalted status of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
This copy was transcribed in Mecca in 1345 AH (1926 CE) from the handwriting of the eminent scholar of the Sacred Mosque, Judge Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Khalifi al-Najdi, preserving the authenticity of transmission.
The manuscript is elegantly written in clear naskh script, with rubricated headings in red, gold illumination at the opening, and floral marginal ornaments, bound in a traditional leather cover with central medallion and gilt tooling.
