Of circular flattened form with a short cylindrical neck and twin strap handles, the flask is painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a bold central medallion of floral sprays, surrounded by dense scrolling foliage within a cusped frame. The decoration continues across the reverse in a similar design, while the neck is vertically banded with repeating geometric motifs. The piece rests on a low, slightly irregular foot.
