Description
The cylindrical case, fitted with suspension loops, is beautifully engraved with scrolling arabesques and bands of calligraphy in naskh and thuluth script, invoking Qur’anic verses and protective prayers. Inside, the delicate scrolls are richly adorned with polychrome and gold illumination framing lines of Arabic text.
