Description
Each box is of rounded form with a domed lid, surmounted by a finely cast bird figure, likely representing a peacock or pheasant, perched gracefully with its long tail extending across the lid. The vessels are decorated in high relief and openwork techniques: one displays lobed panels with scrolling floral motifs, while the other features intricate latticework, geometric designs, and applied floral bosses around the shoulder.
