Of conical form, the pierced silver body rises to a pointed finial, the surface finely engraved with arabesques and openwork panels enclosing figural hunting scenes. A band of turquoise cabochons encircles the midsection, providing a vivid contrast to the polished silver ground. The lower register is decorated with alternating pierced foliate cartouches, all set above four hoof-shaped supports.
