Description

Carved from white marble with a mottled surface, the figure stands in a rigid frontal pose upon an integral base. The female worshipper is depicted with hands clasped at the waist, wearing a long garment incised with geometric patterns suggesting a fringed or woven texture. The head is slightly oversized with simplified facial features, the hair or headdress rendered as a smooth cap. A necklace of small drilled beads is faintly indicated across the chest. The feet are carefully detailed with incised toes.
