Description
This rare and important manuscript comprises six large Quran pages written by the calligrapher Yaqut bin Abdullah al-Mosly during the Atabeg era in the 7th century Hijri (13th century CE), featuring bold black script with red diacritical marks, illuminated verse markers in gilt with polychrome rosettes and medallions, occasional headings in red and blue, and exquisite floral and geometric decoration, all preserved within a later binding.
