Description
The binding is covered in deep reddish-brown leather, tooled and gilt with central lobed medallions of interlacing arabesques and floral scrolls, surmounted and pendant with smaller finials. The corner-pieces are decorated with scrolling gilt designs framed by double-ruled borders, while the flap repeats the ornament with a smaller gilt medallion. The interior is lined with plain pink paper.
