Description
Cast in the shape of an eight-petalled iris flower, with hinged lid surmounted by a small clasp in the form of a hand holding a bud. The surface shows a naturally worn patina of deep golden-brown tones. The interior retains traces of red pigment, indicating former use for betel preparations.
