Lot 127: A FINE QAJAR CARVED WOODEN KASHKUL BOW, PERSIA, 19TH CENTURY
0 views
Of classic boat-shaped form with elegantly upturned ends and scrolling loop handles, the bowl rests on a stepped oval foot. The exterior is richly carved with panels of scrolling arabesques, floral sprays, and geometric borders, all finely detailed and deeply worked into the warm-toned wood. The decoration flows symmetrically along the body, while the interior remains plain.
