Description
The ewer features an elegant pear-shaped body with a pronounced spout and a scrolling handle terminating in a stylised finial. Its surface is richly decorated with dense floral arabesques and scrolling foliage, executed with extraordinary precision. The domed lid and neck continue the intricate decoration, while the handle is further embellished with engraved details, enhancing its sculptural presence. The accompanying basin, of wide circular form with a rounded base, mirrors the ewer’s decorative scheme with finely executed floral and foliate patterns covering its surface.
