Description
The cross is set with a gilt corpus of Christ beneath the cartouche “INRI”, the arms richly decorated with geometric mother-of-pearl inlay in diamond and cross motifs. The shaft continues with similar ornamentation, and the stepped pyramidal base is inset with a large medallion enclosing the sacred monogram IHS, surrounded by radiating floral and cross designs.
