Description
Adorned with intricate bands of Kufic calligraphy, interlaced vegetal scrollwork, and captivating animal figures, including felines and birds in dynamic, almost mythical poses. The body of the candlestick is conical, flaring at the base, and showcases multiple detailed registers of ornamentation, including repoussé and incised work. The upper rim features animal heads in high relief. The interior retains casting marks and bears a vintage Spink & Son Ltd. label.
