Description
A brown glass jug dates to the Umayyad period, possibly from the 7th–8th century, with a deep aubergine hue, the jug features a graceful elongated neck that flares into a pinched spout, and a single elegantly arched handle applied from rim to shoulder. The surface is richly weathered with natural iridescence and encrustation.
