Description
In the form of a richly adorned elephant, likely crafted in Lucknow during the 19th century. This vibrant miniature features an elaborately decorated elephant in deep ruby tones, with an enamelled howdah in green and blue, and a mahout dressed in vivid yellow and green. Set on an ornate circular plinth decorated with a repeating lotus motif. The underside shows a gold-toned finish with hand-formed securing elements.
