Description
The hilt is finely cast in the form of a lion or dragon with floral enamelwork. The guard terminates in paw-like quillons, and the langet is extended into a floral chape. The blade is a long, deeply curved single-edged shamshir form with visible watering (damascening), possibly wootz steel.
