Description
A ceremonial wedding hat, possibly Palestinian, known as a “wuqayat”, traditionally worn by brides during festive celebrations. This rare headdress is richly adorned with layered silver coins, meticulously arranged in concentric circles atop a padded base. At the centre rises a domed silver cone, intricately decorated with embossed patterns and accented by a vivid red cabochon finial and a ring of turquoise-blue glass beads. Additional blue ceramic beads are attached around the base.
