Description
Rare and impressive antique Kashan Dabir carpet. Dabir was one of the most famous weavers in Kashan. Not many pieces woven by his workshop are available, and the remaining ones have been very sought after. He is very well known for the quality of his rugs’ designs and colours combination and their very high quality of execution. The elegant central motif stands out against the cream background. The wool quality is excellent, as you would expect from antique pieces from this city. This piece has a full pile and is in very good condition, apart from an old repair, hardly visible.
