A Qajar glazed and moulded pottery tile from 19th-century Persia, featuring a richly detailed depiction of the mythical Simurgh bird flying majestically above a man on horseback. The rider, adorned in traditional Persian attire, is shown reaching toward the legendary creature, set against a vibrant cobalt blue background filled with lush floral and naturalistic motifs.
