Description

A Chinese Qingbai porcelain bowl, dating to the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD). The bowl is delicately potted and covered in a translucent pale blue-green glaze, characteristic of Qingbai ware.

The interior features a finely moulded design of swirling floral and foliate motifs, showcasing the craftsmanship associated with Jingdezhen kilns. The exterior is left largely undecorated, highlighting the purity of the glaze. The unglazed footring reveals the fine porcelain body, with a slightly recessed base. The glaze has pooled in places, creating a luminous, almost ethereal quality.
