Description
A black metal thread textile from India, dating to the mid-20th century. The textile features intricate gold embroidery with Arabic calligraphy and architectural motifs. The central design showcases a stylized mosque with tall minarets, domes, and arches, possibly representing the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina or another significant Islamic structure. The upper section contains a circular emblem with Arabic inscriptions, radiating like a sun. The borders are adorned with additional calligraphy and decorative patterns.
