Lot 89: A ROMAN ROCK CRYSTAL FLASK, 2ND - 3RD CENTURY A.D.
This elegant Roman flask, dating from the 2nd – 3rd century A.D., is finely crafted from rock crystal. Standing tall with a cylindrical body, the flask features intricate grooves and a gently flared neck. Two small lug handles, near the neck, suggest that it may have been suspended by a cord or carried as a personal vessel.
